Thank You Grandma and Grandpa

My parents just got back from a 16 day vacation to China. They came over on Sunday and brought along a very cute panda puppet from the zoo in China. On Sunday Audrey had no interest what so ever in the puppet. However, for the past few days we haven't been able to get it away from her. She knows to put her hand in it and then she runs around the house with it.

Markers are fun to eat

So we discovered that Audrey loves markers. Coloring on paper is alright but she much perfers to chew off the tips of her markers. Here are pictures from our coloring activity last night.

Sweet and Sassy

I fell in love with this shirt at Old Navy. Somehow I knew that it was a perfect fit for Audrey. She is a true blend of sweet and sassy. She loves to give hugs to all of her friends at school - she is famous for them. She is also starting to cuddle more with mom and dad (when she decides to slow down a little). She also is pretty sassy (which we LOVE). She is known as hurricane Audrey at our house. On Friday she decided that her room was too clean after Agata came and decided to mess it up a little.

I want my personal space

It is starting early. Audrey already wants to have her personal space. She has been going into her bedroom and slaming the door shut. She thinks that this is very funny - especially when we knock on the door. When we open the door, she giggles and shuts it on us again. We are in for trouble!

Audrey gets the Vote out

Audrey hopes that everyone votes tomorrow. Originally when I asked Kevin if we should put out an Obama sign, he said we lived in the most republican enclave of the most republican county in the state. However, Obama signs kept popping up in Elm Grove and one of our neighbors gave us the sign to put up. I was pleasantly surprised how many positive comments we have received so far. Mind you, this is coming from a former die hard Republican. How times have changed. It might have something to do with watching Keith Olbermann every single night for months.
